For the most part, furniture is duty free as classified in Chapter 94 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.  However, some Chinese made furniture is being targeted for anti-dumping duties.  The International Trade Administration has determined "that wooden bedroom furniture from the People's Republic of China (``PRC'') is being, or is likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value."

The furniture is classified under statistical categories 9403.50.9040 and 9403.50.9080 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule.  There are several Chinese manufacturers of wooden bedroom furniture cited in the ADD determination.
