Currently floating around in Congress is the Sensenbrenner/Grassley
bill which would repeal the antidumping provisions of 1916
Revenue Act. Earmarked for repeal is the law which allows
private firms to seek court actions against importers who sold
goods in the U.S. market which harmed a domestic industry.
In 2000 the World Trade Organization found that the law violates
U.S. international trade obligations.
