If you are currently importing products from Burma,
be aware that a ban on all imports from this country starts on
August 28, 2003. The ban is in place for a year. Known
as Executive Order 13310 and signed by the President on July 28th,
the "Burmese Freedom and Democracy Act"
is designed to pressure Burma to make significant political and
social changes. The Act prohibits the importation of all
products from Burma.
